KUTV Anchor Shauna Lake Pleads Guilty To DUI Tuesday

SALT LAKE CITY – On Tuesday, KUTV anchor Shauna Lake pleaded guilty to a Class B misdemeanor charge for DUI.

On 10th of May, she was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence after she was pulled over by a Utah Highway Patrol trooper on the I-215 South belt near 1200 E.

According to the trooper, she was travelling below the speed limit in the far left lane of the freeway due to which the trooper suspected there was something wrong.

She was ordered by the judge to pay the amount of $1,460 in fine and under the deal, she also has to serve 8 hours of community service through an organization named as “No Excuse for Abuse.”

She was charged for multiple offenses that were dismissed, which included:

  • Class C misdemeanor charge for using plates registered to another vehicle
  • Vehicle registration infraction
  • Class C misdemeanor charge for open container in vehicle on the highway

The 3 months jail sentence was suspended and she will be on probation for 1 year.
