KUTV Anchor Shauna Lake Pleads Guilty To Drunk Driving
SALT LAKE CITY – According to police reports, KUTV anchor, Shauna Lake Marshall, pleaded guilty to a Class B misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence Tuesday.
Lake was arrested on May 10 on suspicion of DUI after a Utah Highway Patrol trooper stopped her on the I-215 South belt near 1200 E. The arrest report stated that Lake had been driving below the speed limit in the far left lane of the freeway.
Lake faced three other charges including a class C misdemeanor charge of driving with open container in her vehicle on a highway, a class C misdemeanor charge of using plates registered to another vehicle and a vehicle registration infraction. However, all these charges were dropped.
Lake was ordered to pay a $1,460 fine by a judge who also ordered her to serve eight hours of community service which has to be served through the organization called “No Excuse for Abuse.”
Lake will be on probation for 12 month as the 90-day jail sentence was suspended.
